Prints by early Italian and German Masters, Nielli, &c., May 17th (14 days), £ 2,985 7s. 6d. Prints by Italian and French Masters, unique impressions in sulphur by Finiguerra, & c. 9 July 10th (6 days), £ 2,631 14s. 6d. Books of Prints, &c., July 21st (2 days), 1837, £ 22S 13s 6d. Drawings and designs by himself, May 10th, Miniature Paintings, &c., May 11th (2 days), 1838, £ 361 7s. The Miniatures purchased by Mr. Lloyd in this sale were sold by him to Messrs. Payne & Foss. The best were selected and bound up in a volume and sold to Mr. Holford for 200 guineas. The remainder were bound up in two additional volumes, one of them was purchased for the British Museum in June, 1850, and the other passed into Mr. Samuel Rogers collection. The Drawings by Old Masters were purchased en bloc by Sir Thomas Lawrence.
